Make the best of a warm summer's day at Lakemont Park & The Island Waterpark, where roller coasters, family rides, arcade games, water play areas and more provide endless fun for all ages. Competitive games like go-kart races and bumper cars along with spinning, twisting rides like the Tilt-a-Whirl and the Octopus provide the best fun for older kids, while rides like the Merry Go Round and Kiddie Coaster appeal to the younger set. In the waterpark, there are a handful of high-speed, twisting and pulse-pounding slides, a large pool and a big child play area that has pirate-themed features. Located right off the interstate, the amusement park is easy to reach from any nearby town.
